I was born in Scotland and educated in England then moved to Canada when I was 19 years old.  I am a happily married mother of five boys. Each one of my births was a unique and different experience. I’ve had the privilege of having doctor’s, midwives and doulas participate at my births.  This has led me to share my passion with other woman and empower them to make the best choices for themselves. 

I have been studying maternal care since 1989, graduating with NAMCW (National Association of Child and Maternal Welfare) and continuing my education with DONA International Birth/Postpartum care, Hypnobabies, self study Hypnobirthing and more.

Many things have changed over this time, however one thing which has remained consistent is natural childbirth.  Giving women a supportive and caring environment is my goal.
